Protoscar supported Batima-C21 SA and Comptoir Immobilier SA in planning the e-mobility needs for a residential complex in the new Belle-Terre neighborhood in Geneva. The entire residential area includes owner-occupied and rental apartments, shops, restaurants, and other businesses.

In the first phase of the project, Protoscar conducted an analysis of the future electricity demand. The expected user groups such as tenants, owners, or visitors played a significant role. Protoscar relied on its own robust scenarios for the spread of electromobility and the recommendations of the SIA leaflet 2060, which Protoscar helped to develop as a specialist.

In a second phase, further aspects were analyzed:

  • Representation of different equipment levels of charging stations depending on the purpose of the parking spaces
  • Listing of technical solutions for the different equipment levels and a segmentation of the charging stations, which also covered the needs of visitor parking spaces (e.g., shop&charge, coffee&charge, etc.)
  • Presentation of solutions for billing user charging processes (individual metering / apartment meter; special metering / via charging stations) and providing a selection of service providers
