SAP Charging Card and App

Can I charge publicly with the charging card?

It is intended that charging is done only in private areas. Public charging is covered by a different account.

What happens if a charging card is lost?

A new card can be ordered via SAP fleet management.

Is the charging card still valid if I receive a new company car?

Yes, the accounts are person-based, not vehicle-based.

Can I also start the charging process with the Swisscharge App?

Yes, with the swipe function under the Public button.

Installation

What happens after the on-site check appointment?

An offer will be sent to the employee by Swisscharge.

Can I carry out the installation and commissioning myself or hire my own electrician?

This is not possible for contractual reasons. However, a preferred electrician can be specified.

What happens if I move? Does the technical setup need to be reassigned and carried out by SwissCharge?

No, but it must be ensured that the charging station functions correctly at the new location.

Can I install a charging station without mobile reception at the installation site?

No, mobile reception via Swisscom/Sunrise/Salt is a mandatory requirement.

Reimbursement

How does reimbursement work?

Due to tax restrictions, a maximum amount of CHF 60 is currently paid out for home charging. If charging at home costs less, the actual amount will be paid out. Thus, there is a consumption-based payout with a cap of CHF 60 per month per charging station.

Technical Questions

Can I charge the vehicle via the PV system?

Integration of the charging station into the PV system is not possible. Therefore, no different price per kWh is paid out.
