From September 30th to October 1st, Swisscharge conducted a comprehensive system update. Behind the scenes, we have been working for months to rethink Swisscharge as a software platform. This update is not just an app upgrade but the starting point for a charging experience that connects charging infrastructure, data, and services.
As Swisscharge CEO Ilaria Besozzi explains: «In recent months, we have worked intensively to make the Swisscharge platform fit for the future. Our goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone. We are proud to offer an even better and more reliable charging experience.»
This is how Swisscharge responds to the growing demands of electromobility while laying the foundation for further innovations planned for the future.
We’re currently working on making Autocharge available in the new Swisscharge app. The feature is in its final development phase and will be available soon.
The September invoice will be sent via email. From October, billing will be per charging session - more transparency, more flexibility. Fleet customers without their own payment method are excluded.
If you require older statements, you can request them from support until the end of November.
As part of the update, some roaming conditions were adjusted. This may affect the availability or prices of individual charging points. The majority of the Swisscharge network remains unchanged.
Add your payment method in the app again if a payment does not work after 01.10. Fleet customers without their own payment method are not affected.
