E-fleet with own stations

Who can use the company charging stations?

The employees of your company. The charging stations can also be activated for visitors upon request. You determine the group of people yourself.

How does billing work for employees?

Employees register with Swisscharge as a customer. We obtain your consent and authorize the users to use the charging station. You will receive the earnings periodically.

How does billing with the energy provider work?

The electricity used for the charging stations is measured either via the general meter or a separate meter. In any case, we determine the electricity consumption per charging station to calculate your earnings. The energy provider's bill goes to you.

Smart Charging & Intelligent Charging Features

What is Smart Charging?

With Smart Charging, you can manage your charging infrastructure efficiently, sustainably, and cost-effectively. You can dynamically distribute loads, set priorities, and adapt the energy flow exactly to your needs – all conveniently via the cloud.

How does dynamic load management work?

Dynamic load management can be set up via the cloud. This allows you to control how the available charging power is distributed, for example, among different charging points at a company site. This helps avoid load peaks, reduces grid strain, and optimizes your electricity usage.

How can I use thresholds and smart meters?

Set individual thresholds to limit maximum charging power or overall consumption.
By integrating smart meters, you maintain full control over energy flow, consumption, and costs – in real time.

How can I assign charging priorities?

Smart charging priorities can be set up with the Swisscharge experts and defined on three levels:

  • Charging Station: Certain stations – e.g., guest or public chargers – always receive priority in power allocation.
  • User: User groups such as on-call vehicles, field service, or management can be prioritized and receive more power.
  • SoC (State of Charge): Vehicles with a low battery level (e.g., below 20%) are prioritized until they reach a defined target level (e.g., 80%).

This ensures that electricity always reaches the vehicles that need it most.
